FED 4
The FED 4 is a 35mm film rangefinder camera (#8591957) made by FED and produced between 1964-80 during which time they made over 600k units.
Its main improvement over the FED-3 is its added uncoupled selenium meter, with a window in front of the speed dial. The meter has a scale on the user's left of the top-plate, with a match-needle linked to a calculator dial. The placement of the meter calculator leaves the rewind as a thumb-wheel on the end of the camera. The Lens is an Industar-61 50mm f/2.8 on an M39 screw mount
As with most of the other Leica copies, the FED's, Zorki's, etc. should always be film advanced first before changing the shutter speed.
This has to be one of the heaviest 35mm cameras I have ever come across, presumably made out of old soviet tank parts!
